Garlic soup was a delicious surprise. Can't go wrong with the meatballs
Great authentic south Italian cuisine! Hugh portions of veal and chicken parmagian! Both veal and chicken were thick pieces of meat flash fried to a crispy golden crust and very juicy. The sauce was perfectly seasoned. I asked for more and it came out quickly and hot! Love that they serve angel hair pasta. The Gelato selection is amazing, creamy and flavorful. Looking forward to our next visit
This was a really cool experience and atmosphere. It's like a secret restaurant behind the bakery storefront which are to the mob boss vibe. They had godfather playing on the background which was awesome. The food was great! Had the platter, spinach dip, calzone and chicken parmesan. All of it was delicious. Highly recommend this location if you're looking for a great Italian spot. Live music as well!
Food was great, staff was equally on par. We ordered the meatball as an appetizer. No disappointments there. She fancied herself with the seafood lasagna and wow, rich and delicious from start to finish. Myself, ordered the Chicken parmesan and again, absolutely delicious. They have a wide variety of desserts upon entry. Cake, gelato etc. Will definitely be back soon. Thanks for an enjoyable lunch.
This was our first visit, and it won’t be our last! My husband, our two young daughters, and I had dinner here, and everyone loved it. I always order lasagna at Italian restaurants, and this one did not disappoint—perfect portion, amazing flavor, and clearly made fresh to order. The salad dressing was also fantastic! We can’t wait to return, especially with my Italian in-laws!
This gem is not far off 1-10 and is located one block from the river. It’s nestled in a little neighborhood setting that is both nostalgic and welcoming (there are lights strung on all the buildings). The atmosphere of the dining room speaks Italian. The food is awesome and truly is some of the best around. Portions are decent. We had Carla as a waitress and she was super. We left full, glad we visited, and committed to returning soon for an evening date night. Highly recommend!!
Great food and service. Huge portions. Our entire party took home boxes. The sampler appetizer was very good and everyone loved the entrees. Would definitely visit again!
I loved it and wish I lived closer. We decided to give this restaurant a try based on other reviews, and it was well worth it! Enjoyable experience. The waiter was knowledgeable and recommended a very nice wine that went well with the crab cake meal. As we were there on a Sunday night, we even got to enjoy the live music. Definitely added to the experience and well done both in technique, song choices, and especially volume for the space. The crab cakes were phenomenal and very well enjoyed. Wanted to try lasagna, but they were already out. Decided on my second choice, angel hair pasta and meatballs, and they did not disappoint. The the meatballs are HUGE! Again, wish I lived closer that I could come back and try more of the menu.
